Come enjoy Granite Falls, Texas.
A fictional small town in north central Texas. The Granite Falls Porch Society (GFPS) is busily fixing up their local singles.
Granite Falls Book 1 "When the Summer Ends" will be released October 21, 2025.
The remaining four books are still living in Eloise's imagination. She intends to publish one every four months until all the stories have been told. We hope you join us for the adventure.
Meet Eloise:

Eloise Bright
Romance Author & Storyteller
Eloise Bright is a romance author and high school history teacher who believes love stories should make readers laugh, cry, and feel like they’re coming home. She teaches 11th grade U.S. History and African American Ethnic Studies to grades 10–12, sharing her passion for the past while inspiring her students to think critically about the present.
When she’s not teaching or writing, Eloise spends time with her family, her loyal seven-year-old yellow dog, and her 18-year-old gray and white tabby cat. Her son graduates high school this January and is planning to attend technical school—an exciting (and emotional) new chapter for them both.
She celebrated her 50th birthday this year and is looking forward to life’s next adventure: one day becoming an empty nester and living full-time in an RV, exploring the country with her books, her pets, and a deck of Monopoly cards in tow.
In her free time, Eloise enjoys reading history and romance novels, playing games like Cards Against Humanity and dominoes, and spending time with friends. Her favorite authors include Pippa Grant, Lucy Score, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Lindsay Buroker, whose works inspire her own storytelling.
Her debut novel, When the Summer Ends, releases October 21, 2025, kicking off the Granite Falls series—a heartwarming blend of humor, small-town charm, and second chances.
